Patience is key when growing this slow developing fruit, but it’s well worth the wait. The custard apple is listed as a “species under threat” by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Once ripe, the fruit has a sweet, whitish flesh that’s perfect to eat raw, for desserts or icecream.
It’s also rich in vitamin C and B6 making it delicious healthy treat.
This fruit seedling will bear fruit after about three to four years.
Outdoor planted care: Plant in full sun into the ground or into at least get it in our Terracotta Super Large Pot in well draining soil. Water thoroughly throughout the first year.
