An intellectual, thought provoking mural, painted in monochromatic colours using acrylic paint by Lorraine Amollo whilst doing her PHD in Capetown, South Africa.
Note from artist about painting:
“In Rio, (yes, Rio de Janeiro), there is a colourful place known as the Rio scenarium. People there dance like there is no tomorrow. But my memories of Rio Scenarium faded and flattened and became strings of wonder. I did not forget the dancing though. I still feel the rhythm and resonance of Rio.”
